I had a young lady in her early 20's come by, a first time visitor without appointment.
The young lady, nearly 6 feet tall, with heels, brought in a full length evening dress, with slit on side with full back that hooked behind neck and a box of sequins and directions and a diagram.
I was told that I will completely cover the dress with hand sewn sequins in a particular overlapping pattern of alternating colored sequins and she is going to pick up the finished garment in 1.5 days and will pay me the sum of US $75.00
I told her that I was not able to complete this work in the requested time and that the fee would be substantially higher.
The shocked look on her face was very pronounced and she told me, "Do you know who I am? My Father is........"
The young lady left with her items and was very angry. I suppose that is was because she could not get her demands met for the first time in her life.
I was also wondering if any on the forum work with sequins and what would a realistic amount of time would need be allowed for this task?
