I have heard differing views on the topic...other than obvious pattern aesthetics does anyone know the pros and cons on making a Bow Tie on the bias vs. the grain?

When cut bias, the knot will look much smoother, because the fabric has more give to adapt to a knot. Ever seen a knot in a straight cut tie? Than you know what I mean.

Furthermore it´s up to you to experiment and find out the advantiges and disadvantiges.
