I wonder to what extent the curves along the collar edges in front reflect an effort to render their curves during wear, as opposed to the actual shape of the pattern?
I.e., the curved shapes of the first ones, Kingkragen 030, 028, 007(!) seem clearly to be an attempt to suggest a straight-edged collar's softness, as well as how they would tend to fall on the figure (long points bending slightly outwards, front edges curving slightly around an imagined tie…), as opposed to indicating the actual cut shapes at the front and points.
But 037 Kent and several others appear to actually have sharply curved front edges just at the top where they meet the stand…
