Sea Island is a variety of long staple cotton or els (extra long staple) so it refers to the variety of cotton. Swiss cotton refers to the manufacture of cotton and the country of said manufacture. So you can can can Swiss sea island cotton; Swiss pima cotton, Swiss Giza cotton etc. Switzerland is reputed to be among the best in the world in terms of manufacturing. Sea island cotton has the longest fibers of any cotton in the world and is often misrepresented using such terms as "sea island quality" or even called sea island when it is not. You highest quality cottons are probably Sea Island and Giza(45,70,77,87,88,92,93 etc) cotton. So if you get that made in Italy or England you should still have a very nice product; But even given the same ingredients different companies will get different results.
