He was once described as "the man who brought a new glamour to fashion photography". The following images come from a book printed at the time of a Victoria and Albert Museum exhibition held in 1984. The book is long out of print and unavailable through the V&A Museum website. The images date from between 1948 and 1965. It's also really interesting to see how well dressed he is, always.
