I don't wish to offend anyone at Cutter and Tailor, so if this thread is inappropriate please let me know.

I was in town today and my friend introduced me to a fine tailor who doesn't use a block and keeps very good fabric books.

Salvatore Finocchiaro - Tailor
Suite 57, Level 5
104 Bathurst Street, Sydney, NSW, Ph: 9267 6775

At the same time I met a shirtmaker two floors below:

Xenia Hejda
Level 3, Suite 38A,
104 Bathurst Street, Sydney, NSW
Ph: 9267 1632

She does French seems and will cut your shirt with your own cloth for $250. We have found a number of people who can do this and it is the way to go. Best to buy fabric straight from the mill in lengths of 1.8 or 2M and then get it cut here. Saves $$$$$.
