Visited both places last year, very charismatic houses indeed, everything produced in house and with great attention to detail and innovative cuts. Prices are astronomical though :p

"Visited both places last year, very charismatic houses indeed, everything produced in house and with great attention to detail and innovative cuts. Prices are astronomical though :p "

Isn't that the truth,SealKing?  :)

Cifonelli starts at €5,500 ($6,875 to $8,250) for a bespoke suit and €4,400 ($5,500 to $6,600) for a bespoke jacket while a bespoke pair of pants and a bespoke vest each start at €1,100 ($1,375 to $1,650).

Camps DeLuca's prices are even more astronimical as they start at €6,000 ($7,500 to $9,000) for a bespoke suit and €4,800 ($6,000 to $7,200) for a bespoke jacket while a bespoke pair of pants and a bespoke vest each start at €1,200 ($1,500 to $1,800).

Depending on the day or time of year, €1 is worth $1.25 to $1.50 (hence these tailors' prices in American Dollars being in a range). Of course, you get what you pay for. Camps DeLuca (who offers rush delivery and regular delivery) is the worlds best with Ciffonelli (who only offers regular delivery) being a close second.

Both tailors (who are Italian immigrants and and ½ family maintained, operated, owned and run) have the same house style. That would be the French cut. The French cut is slim where the appearance is 90% clean and 10% draped with the construction being 10% firm and 90% soft

Yes, with the French cut, the clean appearance matches the soft construction with the draped appearance matching the firm construction (normally it's the other way around).

I made a mistake before regarding prices.

Cifonelli starts at €6,500 ($8,125 to $9,750) for a bespoke suit and €5,200 ($6,500 to $7,800) for a bespoke jacket while a bespoke pair of pants and a bespoke vest each start at €1,300 ($1,625 to $1,950).

Camps DeLuca starts at €7,000 ($8,750 to $10,500) for a bespoke suit and €5,600 ($7,000 to $8,400) for a bespoke jacket while a bespoke pair of pants and a bespoke vest each start at €1,400 ($1,750 to $2,100).

Again, depending on the day or time of year, €1 is worth $1.25 to $1.50 (hence these tailors' prices in American Dollars being in a range). Of course, you get what you pay for, as I said before. Again, Camps DeLuca (who offers rush delivery and regular delivery) is the worlds best with Ciffonelli (who only offers regular delivery), again, being a close second.

I made another mistake, I'm afraid.

Camps DeLuca is 100% (not ½) family maintained, operated, owned and run. I was, however, correct about Cifonelli being ½ family maintained, operated, owned and run.

I was also correct when I said that both of these tailors are Italian immigrants.
