As a former apprentice seeking to unlock the secrets of Savile Row tailoring, I understand the challenges faced by apprentices and novices alike.
No matter how well a garment is made, if the pattern isn't cut using both method and experience the outcome will be far some satisfactory.

In order to raise funds for the 'Handcraft Tailor Academy' I am providing Coat (Jacket) Block Patterns (Slopers) for sale, size 36" thru 42" available in every inch.

At $100 per size, I hope that these will be affordable to most.

Schneidergott,

Will post some pics later today.

They're the standard Savile Row bespoke pattern.
Forepart, side-body, back, top sleeve and under sleeve.

Personally I prefer one piece fronts, but I cut the patterns with side bodies.

Would be happy to gift you one, if you'll like to send me your address.

Thank you, but that won't be necessary, I have access to plenty of different SR patterns at G. Livingston & Son.

You can gift me one, so I can draft the German system inside to evaluate their system.

I'm sure Rory will be thrilled to have you cast your eye over his patterns, Zuschneider. What a generous offer

Here's a look at the silhouette of the block patterns.
This jacket is cut using my 40 block, originally drafted for my students at Parsons the New School.Attached File  image.jpg   57.37KB   32 downloads

Looking good!

What kind of ease do you have in your blocks? Just in case somebody interested in buying one has to decide what size to go for.

Can you not just take a picture of the block pattern and post it here. I only need to see the 3 body parts.

That's a harsh reaction, indeed. Useless, for sure too. Off topic? Yeah, also.

And if we consider that never-stopping attitude of yours to keep harping on about the German superiority, even stupid - as it would only mean lost time for you to compare those patterns. But maybe you have time for that, as YOU are the one making "a shitload of money".

I can only suggest that you consider the possibility of a busy man who has no time to spare for dealing with childish behaviours that do not participate in the quality of the discussion in any way. And if I remember correctly, that is not the first time you get this kind of feedback, maybe it is time you listen.
