Hello Sir,

I want to thank you for scanning information from, The Master Disigner, 1947.

This is the very first reference book that I had when I began my interest in the tailoring field.

My copy of this book was found missing after cleanup following hurricane damage to my roof, in which I lost much of my reference materials, notes, etc..

The alterations, stitching and pockets sections were very useful to me when I started out as a beginner in the trade in 1976.

I found the directions and notes were clear enough for me to understand when explaining the more commonly found questions for a beginner.

Though it is a bit outdated, tailoring reference materials were difficult and scarce to locate in my area during the mid 70's.

I feel I am welcoming an old lost friend while viewing this scan.

Thank you and Kerry in another post, for taking time to scan this book for the forum members.

This forum has been a treasure chest of information.

Kind regards
