Not sure if you guys have seen this article: Milanese Buttonhole. regardless if we hate the style or love it i think we can at least take away some joy from the well taken pictures of a gent and his craft. here are some previews.

Gorgeous, from reading the article he appears to have a different method to Jeffrey D wrapping the silk around the gimp instead of doing a buttonhole stitch with a fine thread and hiding the knot [which is my understanding of Jeffreys method].
