Hello All,

I'm looking to improve my hand sewing skills, particularly in relation to using a Thimble and a needle properly. I have some basic skills but could do with improvement. Does anyone know of any websites or books, or guides which can be helpful?

Cheers

Nick

Watch this to start with: https://m.youtube.co...h?v=BxaqMTvuUvc

As for books, there's Stanley Hostek's Hand Stitches for the Fine Custom Tailored Garment: https://www.amazon.c...get_detail_page

And of course, lots of practice...

Forgot to mention, there's also quite a good series on hand stitching, including individual videos on most of the basic stitches, starting here: https://m.youtube.co...h?v=y8Jn7EZqwig
