From John King Wilson's book The Art of Cutting and Fitting published by The Tailor & Cutter, 1950. The book gives a particularly incisive view on how to analyse problems of fit based on his theory of garment balance. The more modern terminology that Wilson uses in place of the old fashioned ones also deserves to be widely adopted.

I study study study Wilson's book. I love the "Immediate Action" approach like fixing your weapon during a battle. Yes the fitting room is a battlefield. It is you versus anatomy. Get it right, right away and everyone wins.

Thank you so much for posting it.

I wish I had a copy of this book. Is it rare? I have not seen it for sale.
