Moxon Hield Bro's 100's and 130's makes up nicely and is competitively priced. Another on seller is a legend of a Yorkshireman named Steven Willis, was the top tech cloth man at Dormeuil for forever and knows his stuff, runs a small business with a reliable 100's at about 30 GBP and a 9 oz 130's at about 35 GBP and overcoatings and covered worsteds. I have never had cloth labels with his cloth so if you need a label on the lining perhaps a consideration. Small raqnge however very competitive though and pleasant.
Charles Clayton are selling again and have so far tried their 150's at about 50 GBP and 120's at about 37 GBP
Camel Hair Canvas and horse hair, Tessiloino Zorloni Bruno are my pick so far for canvases. A good variety of weight compositions of Camel hair Felt wadding. No english spoken unless the translator is there. Very good to deal with and competitively priced.
pastorelli for cupro linings 25 m min per colour approx 5 euro per metre they have an english agent andy's trimmings, good to deal with andy makes the process smooth. They take a Stand at PV

hello c&t forum,

i'm looking for some help with sourcing fabrics in sydney (and melbourne).

i'm a menswear designer in sydney, and i'm looking for suiting and shirting fabrics from wholesalers, agents and suppliers.

so far, i'm aware of davisha, galleria tessuti, dormeuil, holland & sherry, guabell, imperial textiles. these have provided me with some great options but there are still a few gaps.

- i am still trying to find more diverse and brighter colours of suiting; wool blends with linen, cotton and silk; cotton suiting; shirting in various blues

any help you are able to offer me would be very much appreciated.

Thought I would post this for those of us in Canada and the USA.There is a supplier here that carries all the usual suspects - Dormueil, Holland and Sherry, Zegna, Loro Piano etc as well as linings, shirtings and interfacing/canvas. Prices seem quite reasonable. The owner Sultan Moosa is lovely to deal with and extremely helpful. I believe they ship internationally. they have a website as well http://www.sultansfinefabrics.com.

Decent cloths for a starting price of around 8,- Euro/m, about 10%+ discount above 6m of each cloth. Suitings and overcoatings (wool, cashmere, cotton and linen) for men and women, from low end (no name) to high end (the usual suspects) qualities. Plus some tweeds.
Men's section is on the second floor (1. Stock) with the expensive stuff along the left (window) side, further up are women's and cotton. Good for a bargain if you are not fixated on a special cloth.
Definitely worth a personal visit. If you need personal service, don't go there during their lunch break (13.30 to 14.00), for prices you have to ask the staff.
