Was looking around for new curves and rulers. Turkey have a lot of manufacturers of nice wooden curves and rulers, so was googling around for that. I know nought turkish, but found this during my search: http://www.igneiplik...musa-makas.aspx That's 29 USD for 33 cm of chromed goodness! I know nothing of the quality, but I know Turkey has a lot of tailor shops. They can't all buy vintage Heimisch or Kissners, that's for sure.

I might go for them.

Wow, they have everything, and good prices too! Gimp: http://www.igneiplik...roductId=100837 . But I tell you, they need to get their english site working because I'm wearing myself out with this google translate routine.

When I was in holland I had some Seref curves and they were actually quite well made. Might get me some more.

Yes, that seems to be the consensus. I have placed an order for a couple and those shears and will report back when I have them.

They look good and are a very reasonable price. Let us know how they work as I am sure many would be interested in a big pair that come in at a far lower price than a modern Wilkinson of the same size.

I have got the seref curves and they are very nice compared to the plastic dressmakers curves and artist bezier curves I've been using so far. I love the mini curves for neck lines and collars. I can't say so much about the shears. The seem to be of high quality, but I have to use them a couple of months before I can say anything. My vintage chromed solingen 14" have better handles, that's about what I can say so far.
