Sorry for starting a new topic there, I don't have the access to the pro forum, however, I'm very interested in Lesser Golden Bale Lumbs, especially from H Lesser. Could anyone comment about this kind of cloth. I plan to commision a suit from 13 oz Lesser GB, but didn't find any meaningful comparision between 13 oz and 13 oz GB.

I had also found a few lenghts of Moxon GB on Ebay, any info about merchant/mill?

Thank you for all comment.

Moxon apparently is known for making very durable, typically British cloths. I have a suit inherited from my grandfather made in Moxon cloth. 40 years and going strong.

GB is a 'super' as in S100s as far as I'm aware, you can get the Lesser's GB through Harrisons of Edinburgh or buy from Bulmer & Lumb t/a Taylor & Lodge as well.  Lessers have a fuller range of designs.  As you'd expect it has a lovely soft luxurious hand.
