I am looking for a tailor in USA, in good standing to work with in order to learn different approaches and to get out of the German box tailoring. I want to see something else than Houston and to enjoy more life togehter with another tailor.

Is there anyone, who has the resources and fun to try something new, looking for a new friend, developing new ideas or investigating tailoring?

Fun aside, if this is really you, DZ, I can only applaude you for taking this step!

I thought, when SG can do it, I can do that too!

I need some new fun in this life, or I am getting stupid here with my stuff...

That's just cruel!  :acute:

DZ, is there a chance to search locally first? There's a lot of money in Texas, so there might be some decent tailors to look for. Would allow you to stay in your house and just go to the tailor a couple of days per week/ month.

That's better than moving to another area or town and pay for a room or flat.

Best of luck there DZ, I thought you were stitching up the local oil industry but SG is right, there should be a lot of demand in Texas for better quality clothing and while the style may be different from business suits, a buck is a buck even if you make fringed shirts and buckskin pants. Get yourself known as a "Can Do" tailor who is not afraid to make original things and you may end up with that Caddillac yet.
