I attended two (2) short courses at the John Donaldson Technical Institute in Trinidad. These courses were sewing Men Casual Shirts, Men Pants and Jackets. After taking these courses, I sew some men sports shirts at home and sold them to neighbours and friends. Many of them purchased shirts for their husbands. I also sew a few men pants for friends who were willing to try me out for the first time. I admit that I enjoyed the venture, but it was very slow since some men would hardly trust a woman to sew their clothes. My challenge began when I started sewing for women. Women are much harder to please than men, and fitting the bust prominence and the center back of the jacket for a woman is of utmost importance.

I hope that some day I will be able to contribute to this forum, but for the time being all I can do is learn. Based on the above information as outlined for fitting the bust prominence. Thank you. Although I have been sewing for a long time now, I still have a lot to learn. Many of us (home sewers) cannot fit the large busted figures because we do not know how. NOW WE DO!!!. Thanks again.

The men's chapters in this book are also excellent.
